The Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace is one of the regions of Greece. It constitutes a second-level local government organization that covers the northeastern end of the country, specifically the eastern part of Macedonia and Thrace. It also includes two large islands in the Thracian Sea, Thasos and Samothrace.
