Dr. Dinesh Kumar Chauhan is the CEO and Head of the Agribusiness and Innovation Platform (AIP) at International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics ICRISAT, bringing over 22 years of leadership experience in both non-profit and private sectors.

A seasoned agribusiness professional, Dr. Chauhan excels in business development, resource mobilization, and fostering international partnerships. His areas of expertise include Agtech, Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Fresh Produce Quality Management, Techno-Economic Feasibility analysis, and business incubation. Dr. Chauhan holds a PhD in Management, a Master's in Agribusiness, and a master’s in food technology, supplemented by extensive global exposure. He is a well-respected figure in the industry and a recognized public speaker. His international experience spans collaborations with teams in the US, Australia, Russia, Europe, Africa, China, the Middle East, and South Asia.

Dr. Chauhan has held significant positions in academics, consulting, sales, and business development. His expertise encompasses farm solutions, large-scale modern farming, supply chain management, business development, and structured trade finance.

Dr. Chauhan actively participates on advisory boards for various organizations. Additionally, he is a member of the working group for the National Committee of Agri StartUps and serves on several academic councils at various universities. His international experience includes working with diverse teams across the US, Australia, Russia, Europe, Africa, China, the Middle East, and South Asia.
