A creative leader and entrepreneurial executive, Jose Francisco Fernandez Serna has 17 years of experience managing international expansion in the food manufacturing and trading industries, while also focusing on digital transformation, incubation, and venture investments. As a member and chair of the Food Innovation and Technology panel for EIT (European Union), he assesses and secure funding for strategic projects in food innovation and sustainability. A mentor and advisor in sectors like Foodtech, EdTech, and Biotech, he also is an HBS alumnus with a global network. Additionally, he serves as a Board Member of the UAE Spanish Chamber of Commerce and a Venture Partner at Founder Institute.
