Padmanaban Gopalan is the Founder of No Food l Waste - India in 2014 -Initially started as a technology based surplus food recovery  network that collects the surplus food from weddings,  events, restaurants etc. and delivers it to hunger spots like  slums, orphanages, dump yards, shelter homes, Homeless etc. in urban cities. No Food Waste is operating in 25 cities of South India and has directly collected and served about 2,38,38,263 plates of meals to the urban hunger saving about  15150 tons of good food reaching landfills. Feed People not landfills is the mission of No Food Waste. No Food waste later started developing technologies to reduce food waste and upcycling food waste. No Food waste has developed technologies such as , RGANIX - Techkology to convert food waste into bio briquettes in 24 hours, SMoRA to reduce food waste through AI and IOT based sensors , auditing tools , tools for predictive analysis of food waste etc . No Food Waste is also involved in farm surplus recovery and upcycling reducing farm produce loss and waste. Commonwealth youth award, National Youth Award, State youth award are some of the awards received by Padmanaban.
